Two Talkeetna residents were arrested Monday evening for violating the terms of their house arrest. 26-year-old Phillip Adkins and 27-year-old Courtney Bodin are awaiting trial on charges of theft and robbery filed in early July. According to the Alaska State Troopers, Adkins and Bodin were under house arrest with GPS monitoring.
Troopers say the two left their residence near Mile 11 of the Talkeetna Spur Road without obtaining permission from the court. Adkins and Bodin were taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where they are currently being held without bail. Their next court date is scheduled for November.
