Su-Valley wrestler Marshall Pinard continues to dominate his weight class with his third consecutive tournament win over the weekend. Pinard went four-and-oh at the Lime Solar and Anchorage Christian Schools Invitational. The Rams’ star grappler won three matches by pin and the final against Barrow High’s Tua Milla by decision.
Pinard has won all fourteen of his tournament matches this year. Last year he took second place at the state tournament. Paul Johanson, who took first place last year, graduated, leaving Marshall Pinard primed for another deep run at next month’s state tournament.
