In addition to borough elections, Talkeetna residents elected five members of the Talkeetna Community Council, Inc. board of directors on Tuesday. Eight candidates ran for five available seats on the board.
Candidates receiving two-year terms are Ed O’Connor, Christie Seay, Chris Grabowski, and Jeff Lebegue. Peg Vos received the fifth-highest number of votes, and will serve a one-year term. New members will be seated at next month’s Talkeetna Community Council meeting.
