UPDATE 11/24/17: KTNA’s transmitter is back to full power. Thank you to the engineers who traveled from Anchorage this holiday weekend to complete the repair and to George Menard in Trapper Creek for keeping a close eye on the transmitter these last 10 days.
11/20/17: KTNA will remain on low power transmission until Friday. We apologize to our listeners outside the immediate Trapper Creek – Talkeetna area for poor quality or loss of the signal. If you have access to internet, do try streaming at ktna.org.
11/18/17: The parts to repair the KTNA transmitter to full power arrived yesterday and we’re waiting for an engineer from Anchorage to come up. There are only a few radio engineers in the state and they are helping multiple stations around the state this week, so KTNA may remain on low power transmission through the weekend. If you haven’t tried streaming yet, check it out.
