The Denali Highway is now open from Cantwell to Paxson. According to a statement from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, repairs, snow removal, and culvert thawing have been completed along the 135 mile long road.
DOT recommends drivers using remote roads come prepared with extra food, water, and clothing appropriate for various types of weather.
