The Alaska State Troopers have arrested a person of interest in a triple homicide case in Wasilla.
On Thursday morning, Troopers say 51-year-old Juan Camarena called to arrange a meet up. Shortly before noon, Troopers met with Camarena at an undisclosed location in Wasilla and took him into custody on a federal warrant unrelated to the triple homicide investigation.
Earlier in the week, Troopers had asked for assistance locating Camarena, saying he was a person of interest in the deaths of Michael Atwood, Donna Marie Campos, and Alyssa Jiminez earlier this month. Atwood and Campos’s bodies were discovered on November 3rd. Two days later, they discovered a third body, which was later identified as Jiminez.
