Ginger Hudson (on left) was in Talkeetna for a writer’s retreat last winter and came by KTNA to record an excerpt from a biography she is writing of Verna Pratt, who was known as The Wildflower Wizard. Verna was well know for her field guides on Alaskan wildflowers. The title of the excerpt is “The Allure of Wildflowers”. The biography in progress is The Life and Legacy of Verna Pratt, Alaska’s Wildflower Wizard.
