Now that the Upper Susitna Valley has dark skies again, Kathleen Fleming continues to describe what you can see and when in the night sky.

Saturday night 9/5 the waning gibbous Moon rose through the distant trees, with brilliant Mars to the upper right. Kathleen took this photo from home with a small “nothin’ fancy” digital camera.
