The Susitna Valley Rams wrapped up their Co-ed Soccer Season last weekend with a 4-0 win over Palmer High School.  The Rams ended their season with 5 wins, 4 losses and 3 tie games.

Head Coach Steve Harrison, said he felt grateful for the opportunity to play any soccer games this year in the midst of COVID-19.  Earlier in the summer, it looked as though the Rams might not have a soccer season, but Mat-Su Schools’ athletic directors created an in-district, co-ed league, and the Rams were able to play a full twelve-game season.

Su-Valley only has one senior on this team, Colton Slatter, so being able to compete this year was crucial to development of next year’s team.

The State Tournament for co-ed soccer will be not held this year, however, the Su Valley Rams are the reigning State Champions from last season.
