All Alaskans aged sixteen and older are now eligible for state-supplied COVID-19 vaccines.
The announcement of the lifted restrictions came early Tuesday evening and makes Alaska the first state to lift all eligibility requirements for the vaccines.
Governor Mike Dunleavy says of the restriction removal, “A healthy community means a healthy economy. With widespread vaccinations available to all Alaskans who live or work here, we will no doubt see our economy grow and our businesses thrive.”
