Race Director Cameron Gordon spoke with KTNA’s Phillip Manning in the lead-up to the Oosik Classic Ski Race and Tour, which begins at noon on Saturday, March 12th, 2022. One of the biggest adjustments that had to be made was shrinking the race loop to avoid an increase in moose in the area after recent heavy snow.
