The Susitna Valley Rams basketball teams recorded impressive wins over the weekend against Effie Kokrine Charter School.
The Su Valley boys tallied their second straight game with fifty-plus points. After falling behind in the first quarter, the Rams took control, winning by a final score of 56-34. Three Su Valley players scored ten or more points in the contest. Michael Palmer and Henry Davidson each scored ten points. Austin Fox was the highest scorer for the Rams with sixteen points.
The Su Valley girls earned an even more lopsided victory, winning by a final score of 59-6. Ashley Delima led the Rams with fourteen points, followed by Cori Gossett with twelve points.
Su Valley will travel to Delta Junction for the Dean Cummings Memorial Basketball Tournment beginning this Thursday.
