To date, nearly 575,000 Alaskans have applied for the 2023 permanent fund dividend.
If you’ve been in Alaska from January 1st through December 31st, 2022, you might be eligible for the PFD. Paper applications need to be postmarked by March 31st. Online applications can be filed up to midnight on March 31st.
The State will determine how much each applicant will receive based on the number of Alaskans that file for the dividend. Dividend amounts are announced in September each year.
There are other specific qualifications for PFD eligibility regarding military service and convictions that can be found on the state’s PFD website. Visit pfd.alaska.gov for more information.
