The 2023 Oosik was this past weekend and we have timely piece for Susitna Writer’s Voice from our archives. In 2014, Dan Harrell wrote about his experiences racing in the Oosik. As a result of his completive spirit he quickly progressed from a brand new skier to being at the top of the pack.
