Missing women Sunday Powers of Fairbanks and Kami Clark of Anchorage were found deceased in the Trapper Creek area on June 2nd. Alaska State Troopers believe that the women were murdered based on evidence at the scene.
Family reported Sunday Powers missing on May 24th. Powers placed a 911 call before she was reported missing. Sunday’s disappearance was deemed suspicious. Troopers immediately began a search along the Parks Highway corridor where she was believed to be traveling.
The Alaska Bureau of Investigation and local, state, and federal law enforcement are actively investigating the murders.
