A wanted Talkeetna man was arrested at the Palmer Courthouse on Friday.
Early last week, a warrant for John Stefanski’s arrest was issued after he violated the conditions of his release by removing his electronic ankle monitoring device. Last Friday, Stefanski went to the Palmer Courthouse for a reopened case in which he was charged with theft and criminal mischief. There, troopers took him into custody for his outstanding warrant for escape and violating conditions of his release.
Bail is set at $1,500. He is still in custody at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility as of Tuesday, April 29th.
