The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the Summer Reading Program weekly on Thursdays at 11am.  At noon, all ages are welcome to have lunch together- on the lawn. Weekly backpacks with breakfasts, lunches, and snacks will be available for pick up for anyone aged 18 and under. If you are unable to pick up your lunch on Thursday between noon and 1, please let the library know and they can hold them for you.                 June 4: Alaska Wild Bird Rehabilitation and Education Centers bringing a kestrel and a barn owl.  Owl pellet dissection will be after lunchtime.

                June 11: Be Ready for an Exciting Surprise Program

                June 25: Run Away with the Spectacular Green Light Circus

                July 2: Red, White, and Yum: Patriotic Cookie Dash

                July 9: Create a wonderful mosaic masterpiece for the Library!

                July 24: Goats Visit the Library

                July 31: Firefighter Olympics: Ready, Set, Rescue

                August 6: End of the Summer Celebration BBQ & Geri’s Retirement Party at Noon
