The Talkeetna Community Council’s annual election takes place on election day, November 4th, at the Talkeetna Public Library. The deadline for a write-in candidate is 5pm today (October 28th). The Talkeetna Community Council represents the community as a means of citizen participation in local and State government issues, as well as providing a platform for various community services and development projects. The candidate is required to live within the Talkeetna Community Council area, more information at talkeetnacouncil.org.
