Talkeetna Public Library will be holding day-long events during Spring Break. Details are available on the library’s Facebook page and on flyers at the library and around town as well as on the KTNA Community Calendar. These events will be open to all ages. • Monday, March 9 is Lego Monday. The library received a large gift of Legos as well as some wonderful completed projects. There will be space to make your own Lego project and just have fun with friends.
• Tuesday, March 10 is Collage Tuesday. Supplies will be available to make your own collage.
• Wednesday, March 11 is Music Day at Talkeetna Library! The Bon deBarras Trio will perform from Noon to 1pm at The Talkeetna Library. Other musical opportunities will continue throughout the day.
• Thursday, March 12 is Taco Thursday. Storytime’s theme is Tacos and you can make tacos and burritos all day at Talkeetna Library.
• Friday March 13 is Cribbage Day. You can learn how to play cribbage- and checkers- at Talkeetna Library. In addition, there are jigsaw puzzles to attempt or to take home.
• Saturday March 14 at Talkeetna Library is Pi Day as it is also 3 14. Pi is a mathematical term but the library will be serving pie to all- as long as the supply lasts. If you would like to donate a pie, it will be gratefully accepted.
  Saturday is also the Tween Page to Screen program. The movie this month is Inkheart, based on the book by Cornelia Funke. Tweens aged 9 to 12 are invited to discuss the book, enjoy the movie and share some pizza Pie!
