Stardate Susitna’s Kathleen Fleming traveled to the Southern Hemisphere to catch a solar eclipse.
The sun rose in a sky full of scattered clouds.
We miss the few seconds of 2nd contact but the rest of the 2 minutes of totality remained incredibly awesomely visible.
The hour-long partial phase was visible off-and-on between clouds.
And we saw 3rd contact just before the clouds moved between our part of 4 Mile Beach and the Sun.
