StarDate Susitna 11-8-2020, by Kathleen Fleming

In this StarDate Susitna, Kathleen talks about the crescent moon passing Venus (visible even during the daylight) and Mercury the following morning.

This graphic is from Sky and Telescope (Sky at a Glance webpage) and is accurate for 40 degrees North, Eastern Standard Time. In Alaska, the view will be more like an hour+ before sunrise, objects closer to the horizon, and the scene would be tilted to the right, with the Moon having moved slightly closer to Mercury in the hours between their dawn and ours.
