The Blue Tarp, a radio program and podcast, covers the stories of the people and places of Alaska’s Northern Susitna Valley. We strive to share the stories of this area with the many voices who lived them.  History is being made every day so the stories might be decades old or more current.  With this show, we hope to cover many facets of the Susitna Valley story. Seasons 1-4 are available on-demand. Season 5 started March 16, 2024.

Liquid Assets, a radio program and podcast, started airing on KTNA in early 2023. Host Jenny Willoughby dives deep into all things water-related. Covering topics from the elementary water cycle and weird weather to diseases and pests, it’s a little bit of science packed into a few minutes and will make you say H2Ohhhh. Currently airing at 12:30PM on Tuesdays and following Ag Matters at 6PM on Saturdays.

Six Minute Science, produced and hosted by KTNA’s Jenny Willoughby, promises to be a weekly cram session of everything weird and wonderful about science. We’ll learn about fire, mushrooms, octopuses, and much more this season. The first season has ended; the new one will start Fall 2024.

Tune into The Dirt, a weekly gardening brief for the Upper Valley, hosted by KTNA’s Jenny Willoughby. It’s the what, when, where, and how-to garden guide for any hopeful gardener. This week we’ll get into lights and soil. Join us on Tuesdays at 12:30pm after the midday news and Saturdays at about 6:25pm after Ag Matters.
