Drivers in downtown Talkeetna may need to find alternative places to park Thursday, August first between 4am and 9am. Road crews will be sweeping Main Street and grading adjacent gravel roads and alleys.
Crews will be working on Main Street from the beginning at the Talkeetna Spur Road to the revetment. B, C, and D Streets also will receive attention, along with North and South Alleyways.
D&S Road Services will be completing the work and have asked that vehicles not be parked along Main Street or C Streets for the duration of the work. All maintenance is expected to be complete by 9am Thursday, August first.
