Alaska State Troopers received multiple calls late Friday afternoon about a man standing in the highway near Mile 77 and throwing objects at passing vehicles. Troopers say 38-year-old Chad Risinger also stopped a tour bus, climbed on it, and damaged the windshield with a pair of pliers.
When troopers arrived on the scene, they say Risinger ran into the woods, but was caught and tackled. Charges from the incident include criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, assault, and misconduct involving a controlled substance.
