Residents across the Mat Su Borough that are in floodplain areas have received a letter in their mailbox that addresses the issue of building permitting in the flood prone areas.
Residents across the Mat Su Borough that are in floodplain areas have received a letter in their mailbox that addresses the issue of building permitting in the flood prone areas. In order to be in compliance with FEMA, the Borough is trying to get a handle on structures that have been built since 1985 and fall under floodplain guidelines.
