The trial of Mary Joe Burgener was postponed indefinitely this morning (tues) when she has agreed to a change of plea presented to her earlier.
According to the agreement with the court, she will serve 2 years with a one year suspension. She then serves two years of probation and will undergo treatment.
Richard Burgener says he is satisfied with the agreement. Mary Joe Burgener was charged with custodial interference in the first degree. She remains at Hiland Correctional Facility.
