1 event,The Talkeetna Historical Society is seeking artists to decorate wooden salmon cutouts for their upcoming Salmon Run Art Auction fundraiser. The completed artwork is now due by July 15th. Those who are interested may stop by the museum or call Autumn at (907)304-0321 to coordinate a pickup time. The museum is open every day from 9am to 5pm. |
1 event,The Talkeetna Public Library hosts the Summer Reading Program weekly on Thursdays at 11am. This week is Mystery Adventure Day. At noon, all ages are welcome to have lunch together- on the lawn. Weekly backpacks with breakfasts, lunches, and snacks will be available for pick up for anyone aged 18 and under. If you are unable to pick up your lunch on Thursday between noon and 1, please let the library know and they can hold them for you.
