The ice at Jack MacDonald Ice Rink at Talkeetna Elementary School will be getting significant repair and maintenance on Saturday, February 7th. Please be respectful of any posted signage and stay off the ice if it is not completely frozen. Skating and/or walking on unfrozen ice can damage it.

Denali Arts Council is seeking storytellers for the upcoming Arctic Entries on Saturday, April 4th. The theme is Potholes and Promises, Stories of bumps in the road, where they lead and how you kept going. The stories need to be true, written in the first person and seven minutes long. The Friends of the Talkeetna Library are holding a Book Sale at the Talkeetna Public Library beginning Friday, March 27.
