Susitna Valley High School is having a fundraiser today (Wednesday) from 4-8pm at the school. There will be basketball games and some spinach bread for sale. The proceeds go to a student trip to Washington DC and other needs. All are welcome.

There is a Dog Art Show opening at the Flying Squirrel Bakery Café on Saturday, March 1st from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Celebrating canine friends in artwork by their human friends. The show will be up through the month of March. The Talkeetna Skatepark Committee presents: Krew Feud, a family-friendly live game show fundraiser in the style of Family Feud. The event is Saturday, March 1st at 6pm at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar. There is a suggested donation. All raised funds to go towards the construction of the Talkeetna Skatepark. |

Talkeetna Elementary School hosts a Choose-Your-Ending Story Ski Night on Thursday, April 3rd, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. This Title 1 Event takes place along Talkeetna Elementary School's on-site ski trails, featuring an interactive, choose your own adventure, story. After your ski, you can warm up by a campfire. There will be hot dogs, tater tots, s’mores, and hot cocoa. Ski gear is available for students on a first-come, first-serve basis. All are welcome.
