Here is a clarification regarding a story that ran on May 14 about the change in management of what used to be Café Michele. According to owner Michele Faurot, the business has not sold, but is rather leased to purchase. Faurot said that there is an 18-month time limit on the lease. The restaurant is now called Kahiltna Bistro and is operated by Gerry Sousa. Michele Faurot owned the restaurant for ten years. She said she is now writing a cookbook and is still available to cater events.
