A single-car accident resulted in a DUI arrest on Saturday in Talkeetna.
According to the Alaska State Troopers Dispatch, Troopers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision near the intersection of G Street and Beaver Road at approximately 6:40. Investigation revealed that Clifford Barber, age 23, of Talkeetna, was operating his 1988 Ford Bronco II on Beaver Road when he lost control and hit a tree after going in the ditch.
Further investigation revealed Barber was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Barber was arrested at the scene for Driving Under the Influence and transported to Mat Su Pretrial where his bail was set at $500.00.
