Deadline nears for PFD donations to charities
Those in a charitable mood can still make donations through the Pick-Click-Give program.
Those in a charitable mood can still make donations through the Pick-Click-Give program. Alaskans who have filed online for the Permanent Fund Dividend can donate a portion of their PFD to their favorite charity. The deadline to submit the donations online is May 31.
The PFD charitable contributions program is in its second year. Four Talkeetna organizations participate in the program. Those are the Sunshine Community Health Center, the Denali Arts Council, the Jessica Stevens Community Foundation and KTNA Talkeetna.
