PUBLIC NOTICE
Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Region, Land Office is considering the issuance of one (1) land use permit to Sven Haltmann d/b/a Glacier Tours to provide dog sled tours on the Colony glacier near Mt. Gannett. The site is located approximately four miles west of Mt. Gannett within Section: 02, Township: 13 North, Range: 6 East, Seward Meridian.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed permit. To submit comments, please write to the South Central Region Office within 30-days of this notice. Written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the above address on or before 5:00 p.m. April 24, 2010.
