A moderate earthquake in Prince William Sound was felt in the Northern Susitna Valley on Monday afternoon.

 

According to the Alaska Earthquake information Center, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake occurred at 1:18 pm forty-five miles east-southeast of Whittier at a depth of ten miles.

 

No damage was immediately reported as a result of the earthquake.
