The Talkeetna Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is on Thursdays until August 7th, with the following activities:

• Storytime for ages 0-7 begins 11am with a snack, stories, and a craft. The theme this week is Rock Painting and the kids will begin to make a William Snakespeare rock sculpture.
• Lunch on the Lawn for all ages up to 18 is at 12pm.
• The Summer Reading Program for all ages begins at 1pm. Elaborate rock painting is the activity, and the kids will have a chance to add to the rock-snake sculpture.
• Reading logs may be turned in at the front desk on Thursdays.
