The Susitna River Coalition is hosting a live virtual event in their Winter Speaker Series on Thursday, January 29th at 6:30 PM, streaming on Zoom and Facebook Live. The topic is Alaska’s Energy Landscape: past, present and future. Presenters are Doug Johnson of ORPC Alaska on the topic of emerging renewable energy technologies, followed by Dr. Philip Wight of UAF, exploring the history of electrification in Alaska’s Railbelt—and how past decisions still shape the future of Alaskans.
