On Sunday night, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a fatal crash near Mile 95 of the Parks Highway.
Troopers say a sedan was traveling southbound in the northbound lane during icy conditions with heavy snowfall. The sedan collided with a tractor-trailer driving northbound.
Medics declared the driver of the sedan deceased at the scene of the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. Next of kin has not been notified, and the driver of the sedan has not been identified.
