The first group (pdf link) of pre-filed bills has been released. In total forty-eight bills have been pre-filed, thirty-two in the House and sixteen in the Senate. The bills cover a broad array of topics, including the establishment of a statewide bed tax, establishing a mental health and psychedelic medicine task force, school bond debt reimbursement, and public safety.
Representative Kevin McCabe and Senator Mike Shower represent the Susitna Valley in the legislature. Neither has a bill included in the first batch of advance filings.
