Gamble chosen as UAA president
The CEO and President of Alaska Railroad, Pat Gamble, was recently selected as the new President of the University of Alaska.
The CEO and President of Alaska Railroad, Pat Gamble, was recently selected as the new President of the University of Alaska.
That selection means that the Alaska Railroad is on a search for a new President. The Alaska Railroad’s board of directors chairman, John Binkley expressed his congratulations to Gamble and at the same time praised Gamble for his efforts at the Railroad. Binkley says that the Railroad’s assets have tripled during Gamble’s nine year tenure and net earnings doubled during the same period.
The Alaska Railroad’s Board of Directors is scheduled to meet March 25th to discuss how to proceed with recruitment of a new President and CEO.
