The State Office of History & Archaeology is looking to support historic preservation projects around the state this year. In a press release the Office announced grants for historic preservation, predevelopment and development projects to assist with preserving, stabilizing, restoring, or rehabilitating historic buildings and structures. Those eligible for the grants include individuals, businesses, corporations, local governments, and state agencies owning properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places or already determined eligible for listing.

The Office of History & Archaeology anticipates that $250,000 will be available in reimbursable, matching grants.
