Humphrey trial delayed again
The trial for Rodney Humphrey of Trapper Creek has once again been postponed.
The trial for Rodney Humphrey of Trapper Creek has once again been postponed. Humphrey, age 49, is charged with attempted murder, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence and three counts of assault in various degrees.
The charges stem from last summer, when Humphrey allegedly drove over 25-year old Aaron Dorfman with his Ford Ranger truck during the Trapper Creek Bluegrass festival on August 22. Dorfman was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He survived the ordeal.
Palmer assistant district attorney Allison Collins said the trial is moved to July 26.
(Earlier court documents listed the charge as murder, however, Dorfman survived the incident. Documents also inaccurately stated that he had died)
