KTNA’s satellite link for receiving statewide news from the Alaska Public Radio Network is malfunctioning and we are working with engineers to correct the problem. Until it is fixed, you will hear a few minutes of silence instead of statewide news after NPR headlines news at 7 am and 8 am. And some days we may not be able to air statewide news at 8:45 am and 12:06 pm, the Economic Report on Thursdays, or Alaska News Nightly at 6:30 pm until this problem is resolved.

Yaks Run Loose on Talkeetna Spur Road
At least twice this summer, yaks have been spotted running loose along the Talkeetna Spur Road. Mat-Su Borough Animal Control has opened a case for multiple reports about the loose
