Judge Beverly Cutler is retiring this year from Superior Court after 27 years as a judge in Palmer. The Alaska Judicial Council is accepting applications for her seat which will be vacated this fall.
Applications for qualified attorneys to replace Cutler will be accepted through this month. The final day for applications is March 2nd.
Cutler will work until the middle of September. She is the judge in the Halloween robbery case as well as the connected burglary cases. Amber Martin and Kendra Butts are currently scheduled to be sentenced March 6th. Michael Wilson, accused of at least 60 counts of burglary and other charges, is scheduled to appear in court March 23rd.
