Man arrested on assault charges
Alaska State Troopers arrested a Talkeetna man on Tuesday for assaulting a family member.
Alaska State Troopers arrested a Talkeetna man on Tuesday for assaulting a family member. According to the troopers, the assault happened on Friday, November 12, but law enforcement were not called until Tuesday. Their investigation revealed that 50-year-old Kenneth Bacchus had attacked a family member. Bacchus was charged with four counts of assault in varying degrees, causing injury with a dangerous instrument, causing fear of injury and recklessly injuring a person. He was also charged with one count of criminal mischief for property damage.
Bacchus was taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and was arraigned on Tuesday in Palmer court.
