Mat-Su Borough hires consulting firm to create strategic five-year plan for libraries
The Mat-Su Borough hired consulting firm Rose Group International to assess each Borough library individually and establish a clear direction and goals for the libraries to better meet the needs
The Mat-Su Borough hired consulting firm Rose Group International to assess each Borough library individually and establish a clear direction and goals for the libraries to better meet the needs of the community.
As part of their project, the firm conducted one on one interviews with library board members and library staff. They will also hold open-house events at each of the five libraries for public input in early February.
On February 4th, the firm will host an open-house at the Sutton Public Library from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
On February 5th, they will be at Talkeetna Public Library from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and at Trapper Creek Public Library from 4 – 6 p.m.
On February 6th, they will be at Big Lake Public Library from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and at Willow Public Library from 4 – 6 p.m.
The firm should complete their written strategic plan by March 31st, where it will then be sent to the Library Board for review.
