The United States military is proposing to expand and establish new military operations areas in the Interior of Alaska, including areas in the Mat-Su Borough and east of Talkeetna. A meeting on Tuesday night at the Swiss Alaska Inn is part of the military’s scoping process to inform the public of their proposals. Diana Haecker spoke with Colonel Greg Bell beforehand to get a sense of what the military is planning to do.
