Alaska State Troopers are investigating three burglaries and a vehicle theft that occurred on Friday evening in the Northern Susitna Valley.
The first report came in shortly after 5:00 pm on Friday. In that incident, Troopers say two snow machines, a snow machine trailer, power tools, and an oil heater were taken from a residence near the Talkeetna Spur Road.
Just before 6:00 pm, the second report was called in. Troopers say a residence near Deep Woods Circle in Talkeetna was burglarized, and more than $5,000 worth of property was taken. Stolen items include firearms, a generator, and other household items.
At around 7:30, another burglary was reported in Willow. In that case, a residence near Long Lake Road was forcefully entered. Power tools, two chainsaws, and a heater were reported stolen, with a total value around $3,000.
The final burglary also occurred on Deep Woods Circle. Around 8:00 pm, Troopers say several items were reported stolen. The value and list of stolen items were not posted to the Trooper dispatches as of Monday morning.
All four cases are under investigation. Troopers ask that anyone with information call 745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
