Murkowski to tweet town hall meeting

Senator Lisa Murkowskis is on board the latest technology and similar to an earlier session held by President Obama, she is holding a “twitter” session that she is calling a brown bag town hall, on Thursday, July 21^st.

She says she knows there are issues that people in Alaska are talking about –from military operations to energy legislation.

She will begin responding to people’s ‘tweets’ on Thursday starting at Noon Alaska time.  Responses that can be given in 140 characters WILL be.  She may send more than one tweet at a time.  Entries will be prioritized by whether they come from Alaska or have to do with issues presently facing the U.S. or the US Senate.
