For the next few days, the New Old Time Chautauqua will be in Talkeetna. The Chautauqua is an educational and entertainment group of more than fifty members who will be putting on shows, workshops, and community service projects during there time here. KTNA’s Phillip Manning spoke with Karl Meyer and Meghan Holtan about what will be happening in the coming days.

June 15th 8:00 pm: Chautauqua band, “Fighting Instruments of Karma” will play at the Fairview Inn.
June 17th and 18th 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00): Vaudeville shows at the Sheldon Community Arts Hangar featuring “juggling, acrobatics, aerials, dancing, magic, mime, live music, and more – and will feature locally and internationally-acclaimed talent.”
June 18th 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Various free workshops, “ranging from circus skills, to slackline, to Tlingit/Haida medicinal healing, to mime, to
learning the ukulele.”
