The Talkeetna Hockey Association has met a long desired goal of building roofs over the hockey rinks in Willow and Talkeetna. The warmer winter temperatures has made maintaining outdoor ice rinks in Talkeetna and Willow a challenge.  Back in October of 2016, voters of Willow and Talkeetna passed the Recreation Bond Issue that has provided 1.5 million dollars for the project.

KTNA’s Katie Writer spoke with Talkeetna Hockey Association’s Mike Moeglein and Peter Ridge of Diversified Construction about the project that is expected to be completed by October 1st, 2018.
